One of our favorite uses for the Upotic Planter is growing tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. If you have had a great tomato or pepper producer in your garden, replant it in a Upotic Planter and bring it inside. At the very least, you will prolong it’s season! You can also plant seeds! You will need a sunny location, and even with that you might consider a grow light, but if you choose the right varieties it can certainly be done.
Herbs also do very well indoors, especially chives, mint, and sage. HGTV posted a very helpful article on the 13 Easiest herbs to grow inside. Rosemary can be a little trickier but gives a beautiful fragrance to your home.
